Babouche
Sailing through the Northwest Passage

Sébastien Roubinet

Featured in a film directed by Adrénaline Expédition, music by Alexei Aigui / 4" 33

In 2007, Babouche and her crew crossed the Northwest Passage. 4 months and 5000 miles from Alaska to Greenland without engine: first attempt of this kind in the world
Using video clips and pictures from the expedition, Sébastien tells all about the amazing expedition they have done and shares the adventures they have experienced. Discover the beauty of the arctic landscapes as well as their need to be protected and listen to the testimonies from Arctic populations (daily global warming witnesses) encountered throughout the journey.
Sébastien also talks about his next challenge, "La voie du pôle”: crossing the Arctic Ocean in 2010, aboard a new vessel designed specifically for this expedition (with pictures of the first tests on snow with the prototype)

Conferences possible in various locations: schools, general public establishments, companies.
